My friend Deb posted some pictures recently of her trip to the beach. It made me realize just how long it had been since I’ve gone to see the sea. I really enjoy doing so, and the water mesmerizes me, so I don’t like to go with little people. I’m afraid I wouldn’t be paying close enough attention, and one would get away from me. There are so many of them, and only one of me, you see.

Deb is coming to see me next week-end though, and if she decides to stay long enough, then maybe I’ll take her to our beach. I can just see us, sitting on teak outdoor furniture, sipping sodas in the sand, wearing big old hats and laughing like school girls.
