Hmm, I posted over on CassKnits that I was interested in teeth whitening. I got a couple of suggestions, but I found them a little pricey. In the hopes that maybe someone reads here that doesn’t read there, what do you recommend for whitening teeth? I know there are dentists like this Detroit cosmetic dentist who specialize in that sort of thing, but 1) I’m not in Detroit, and more importantly 2) I don’t want to go to the dentist.

My problem is a double whammy of genetics and lifestyle. My teeth have always had a yellowish cast, but years of tea and coffe drinking along with (you know) have made it far worse, Since I’m stopping (you know) shortly, it would be nice to brighten my smile. It’s gotten to the point that I am hesitant to smile for pictures, because I am ashamed of my teeth. I’m not about to give up coffee or tea though, so if you know from experience that I am doomed to failure, go ahead and say so.
