:booking:
Okay . . . picture this (really) worst-case scenario: It’s cold and raining, your boyfriend/girlfriend has just dumped you, you’ve just been fired, the pile of unpaid bills is sky-high, your beloved pet has recently died, and you think you’re coming down with a cold. All you want to do (other than hiding under the covers) is to curl up with a good book, something warm and comforting that will make you feel better.
What do you read?
Diana Gabaldon. Hands down, she wins. I have read the first four in her series, and I have the fifth. I should totally sit down with them for several days in a row. I have been reading more lately, as I had intended to do, but it’s mostly been craft mags and quilting books. But I’m reading! And doing crafty type stuff, which you can read about on my knitting blog.

I have never heard of her — will have to check her out!
I never heard of her. Time to check her out?
Thanks!
Happy Thursday!
Yeah, craft books would be tough to stay engrossed in, I imagine, when you’re going through a tough spot. I’d go for sheer brain candy fiction, myself. 🙂
I agree with you on Diana Gabaldon! Her stories were the greatest of all times, IMO 🙂
Great answer! BTT!
