   You’re such a brave soul with the home hair dye. I’ve screwed my own hair up so many times, that I won’t go hear it. I think it’s a real talent to be able to get it to turn out just how you want it to!

   You look a heck of a lot better doing that than I do, as you well know! Here’s my tip of the week: wear a button-front shirt when you do it, so you can step in the shower to wash it out insted of sticking your head in the sink or whatever you’re doing. That just seems to work better for me – for what it’s worth. I keep an old shirt just for that. I did mine this week, too. Can you tell?

I'm Cass. I am a full-time mom to eight great children, a Christian and a blogger. I'm also a knitter, a reader and a movie watcher. And a collector of eclectic oddities.

For the first time in 18 and a half years, I have my own little corner again. Somewhere along the way, I seem to have lost myself, and now that I realize I'm missing, I'm on the look out for me. You maybe don't know what that means, but then again, maybe you do. Regardless, this is where I'll be when I'm not being a mother or a knitter. This is where I'll be just me. And if no one ever reads it, that's ok. I'll know it's here.
