Wednesday is the first “light” day next week, but it will be the most difficult by far. I’ll spend the morning staring at medical supplies while my 6 year old has his tonsils and adenoids removed. Only one kid has practice, and it’s football for a boy, so DH will take care of that, and I will get to stay home and serve ice cream and popsicles to a hungry, cranky, hurting kiddo who can’t eat real food.

Monday
I blogged about the wonderful gift of time that DH gave me this evening. Let me tell you in a few posts what the rest of my week will be like. I’m pre-writing these, because I’ll be busy, busy, busy. On Monday, I get to take four children to the dentist by 9am. Then we will have school if there is time, school lite if there isn’t. Two children have cheerleading practice at 6pm, and I have a meeting with my den leaders and the liaison from the church where we met for the past several years. I will certainly be aptly called a bear by the end of the day, and I am not talking about those cute, cuddly plush animals, either.
What’s up with that?
I write my heart out and all I get is spam for comments, and yet I post something silly, and get two real comments in half an hour. Hmmph. I’ll have to consider the meaning of this. Perhaps I am just too silly a person to attempt serious writing.
Of course, you may be correct, considering my last post did mention dyeing people’s teeth purple. *snicker*
No need for this
There is absolutely no purpose for this post. It’s here as a place holder. It’s holding the place of nothing, because nothing is not acceptable, but this is. Go figure.
Avoiding the laundry?
I write about a lot of different things on this blog, as you well know, and I don’t often think of how that is going to affect the search engines. I mean, I certainly like ranking high in searches because that means more hits, more hits means more regular readers, etc. Search engine = good. I did check out my keyword hits this morning, though, and was surprised to see that yahoo rated me the number two site for “avoiding the laundry blog”. I’m not quite sure what to think of that. I’m pretty sure I couldn’t get any higher for that term even if I hired a search engine marketing firm. But then again, I’m not really sure I want to. On the third hand, I do spend a lot of time avoiding the laundry, so much so that it’s part of this blog’s title. On the fourth hand, I only have two hands.
Why #8
Okay, I have joked about going to Florida several times. But today, I was writing about a site that specialized in finding hotels in orlando, attraction tickets and everything you need to have a good time in Florida. And something clicked in my mind, and I think I am going. to. Florida. Sometime next year, I don’t know exactly when, I am going to meet a group of friends for a travel craft event. I have to do some research, and figure out exactly where and exactly when, and exactly what but going I am. With other people. On a trip I am responsible for planning.

The other day I casually mentioned getting High School Musical tickets for the girls and myself, thinking they would like to see it. I was in a couple of musicals in school, so I thought it would be a cool movie to see. Singing, dancing, fun, what’s not to like?? Well, apparently something, because the reaction was decidedly negative. Now, I’m left wondering what’s wrong with this movie.
Why #6: Why wouldn’t teens and tweens want to see a movie about singing, dancing teens and tweens?

Ok, I am sitting here at my desk, and I made up a little index card with the bills listed on it (I posted that I needed to do that, remember? Anyway, I keep looking at the card, and I keep thinking, wow…. I think I shoulda made that card BEFORE I needed financial consolidation software, ykwim? I’m maybe exaggerating just a bit, but I still have a related question.
Why #5: Why wasn’t I paying attention?
