Introducing Anais

Here is another Christian friend of mine. She may not believe that, because I have never commented on her blog, LOL. Her blog, Feel Good, is on vox, and I am too lazy to sign up for an account. I really should though, because I get a blessing every time I visit. On her blog, she is very open about her recovery from addiction, and she is inspiring in the way she talks about working through that. Because I won’t sign up for an account, I’ve not told her this before, but her quiet passion for recovery, and her conviction that it can and should be done is part of what motivated me to make the change in my schedule this week.

Introducing Ang.-again

I want to introduce you to another blog of Ang.’s. On Ang.’s Chicken Coop, you’ll find stories about her animals and her family. I enjoy all the pictures she puts up on this blog, and the animal facts she shares. She has a BS in animal science, and she educates me without even trying, just with the little tidbits she throws out. She also talks about her faith on this blog, and for that reason, I am filing it under Christian Bloggers.

Blown Fuse

I want to introduce you to Blown Fuse today. I really enjoy Tiffany’s blog on many levels. For one thing, she’s just incredibly funny. For another, she lays it down like it really is: this gal don’t take no junk. Finally, she just had a baby, and it’s a lot of fun reading her reactions as she discovers just what all that really means. Of course, I was reading long before she ever got pregnant, and I guessed it before she ever announced it. Advanced maternity gives you mad skillz like that.

Oh, and did I add that she’s “from here”?

Amy

This is a different Amy than the one I introduced you to last week. This Amy has a new dog, and a rocking blog tricked out with Napoleon Dynamite categories. I really enjoy Whatever I Feel Like, from the peaceful look of the site, to the well written posts. Amy talks about a wide variety of subjects, and I am sure you will find her as delightful as I do. Hang tight, because I will be introducing her other blog in the future.

Dissappointed

I went to a new site today, expecting to be blown away. My excitement fizzled pretty quickly, though. I’ve been asked to give a review, though, and I am going to, because I think this site could be great! The articles, such as this one on Mobile Communication, are decently written, and certainly enough to answer basic questions, and let a person know if they want to continue to research a subject. So far, so good, because that’s what I expect from a site with a name like Encyclocentral.

And that’s where my expectations and this site parted ways. The articles are not alphabetized on the letter pages, making it difficult to find what you are looking for. You have to find a tiny link at the bottom of the page to get that, but here it is. That should be way more prominent on the page. Like at the top, and in big letters.

Additionally, it was obvious that the site was set up as a money maker and that’s fine. You all know I don’t have a problem making a buck off a website, as long as there is valuable content. I’d like to see the article selection expanded a great deal, though, in order for this to become a one-stop information shop. What’s there is good, and often very good, just put more of it, and add some articles on non-keyword items.

Again, great potential here! I think with time and work, this could be an awesome resource. And make you a few bucks in the bargain.

A Bit of This and That

My friend Ang. (don’t forget the period) needs some introducing. I have known Ang. for years, and she has been a wonderful friend to me. We lost contact last year when we both had computer trouble one right after the other, but a couple months ago, I got an IM from the past, and it was her! I was so glad to hear from her again, and we picked up right where we left off so long ago.

Ang. (note the period) has a few blogs, but the one I want to tell you about today is A Bit of This and That. She blogs there about whatever has her interest at the moment, and right now, that’s the cold. You’ll find lots of different stuff there, though, so do drop by!

Marisa has experience

Here’s another introduction. My friend Marisa runs 2 blogs. You’ll find her at Scribble on the Wall, and Marisa’s Dandelion Patch. At Scribble on the Wall, she talks about neat things she finds on the internet.

Her experience comes in over at the Dandelion Patch. Marisa has several children, as well as a grandbaby and I enjoy the things she writes about her family. She’s also got a spunky sense of humor. She also shares my feelings about cell phones. Reading her blog is like chatting with a friend. A little of this, a little of that, and an offer of more Kona Coffee.

Amy@BellClapper’sGarden

I want to point you to a new blog. Amy linked to me the other day, and I had to go investigate her. I love finding new blogs this way. She blogs about her family, and things she needs to get done. She’s a Christian blogger as well, and that’s apparent the moment you hit her site, from the Bible verse at the top to the blogrolls on the side, and including the posts.

Amy, will you consider joining the Carnival of the Redeemed? I think you’d fit in really well, especially after reading this. I enjoy how you weave the spiritual in to the everyday.
